Estimating Sums and Differences
You can use estimation to solve problems with decimals in them.
You round the decimal to the nearest ten and add it to the ones place.
Here is an example.
62.7+42.6=105.3
63+43=106
The rounded problem is easier, right?
It is easier because you do not have to add the decimals, and you don't have a remainder.
